About Manuel

Biography

Manuel considers himself a spiritual coach who guides us to explore  the ideas that shape what we believe and how we behave, leads us to think critically about the person of Jesus Christ and His claims, and equips us to be part of God's plan for the transformation of our lives, families, work place, and society. His communication  is enriched by a wide variety of fields, from literature and science to business issues and current ideology; he places these ideas in simple and whimsical language making his presentations compelling and engaging for the company CEO and the soccer mom at the same time

He has traveled the world since 1990 giving lectures and workshops in churches, business and political settings, schools and universities of over 20 countries including the United States, India, Germany, Spain, England, Holland, Mexico, Jamaica, Colombia, Venezuela, and Argentina among others.

Manuel was born and raised in southern Colombia, between the Andean Moutains and the Amazonian rain forest. He came to faith in Christ at the age of 17 and immediately traveled to the United States in pursuit of Biblical education. Manuel is married to Sandra; they have three sons.

• MA in Theology and Philosophy at Biola University 
• B.A. in Communications and B.A. in Theology at Moody Bible Institute   
• Manuel is also Certified in coaching with the ‘Transformational Leadership Coaching Institute’ 

Experience

Manuel has addressed various Church, academic, business, and political audiences speaking to more than  10 million people since 1990 via public events, forums, TV interviews, Radio presentations and other media.  He has spoken at settings such as The Life Focus Society for business and political leaders in India; the War College in Colombia, and national television talk shows in Venezuela, Peru, and Ecuador. He has presented forums on the validity of the Christian faith in over 30 universities and schools worldwide including Georgia Tech in Altanta, UNAM in Mexico, and many more.

Manuel has spoken at churches of most denominations world-wide, Christain retreats and conferences, youth camps, and has  participated in international conventions on evangelism, apologetics, and leadership such as COICOM, COMIBAM, CBMC and Campus Crusade for Christ amongst others. In his career path Manuel has shared the pulpit in international conferences with speakers such as Franklin Graham, Ravi Zacharias and others.
